Iris Recognition access control.
Access to our premises and highly restricted vault areas is secured using cutting-edge iris recognition technology, helping establish the true identity of every customer.
Iris recognition provides precise identification without PINs, passwords or access cards. Registration can be completed quickly, with authentication taking only seconds.
A customer’s iris pattern is unique and remains stable throughout their life, offering one of the most advanced and accurate biometric access control methods available.
Our vault.
The vault is one of the final lines of defence against any attempted attack, so its accreditation, resilience and physical strength are critical.
Britannia offers a Class X CD EX Chubb Centurion six-sided vault, purpose-built by Gunnebo Chubb in Germany. The vault includes additional explosive and core drill protection.
It is tested and certified by ECB•S to comply with the latest European security standard EN 1143-1.
Dual control locking mechanism.
Each safe deposit box is fitted with a dual control lock, requiring both the customer key and custodian key before access can be granted.
This means one of our custodians must be present whenever a safe deposit box is accessed. The customer cannot open their box without the custodian key being inserted first.
Customers also cannot remove their key without first closing and locking their box. Metal inner liner boxes are provided, and customers may use personal locks on these inner boxes.
